How is the Treatment Administered?
The energy heats the water within the surface layers of the skin, causing both the water & the tissue of the skin to turn to vapour. Everytime the laser passes over the skin, some of the outermost layers of the skin are resurfaced.
This treatment is recommended for the treatment of scarring, wrinkles, skin resurfacing & benign lesions. It works to improve overall skin tone, elasticity, texture, pigmentation & pore size while helping to bolster the skin against future aging.
Are There Any Side Effects?
Discomfort may be experienced during & post treatment, however your practitioner will use measures to make treatment as comfortable as possible.
Downtime is usually 5-7 days, where you will experience heat, redness, peeling & possible swelling. Your practioner will advise on best practice to minimise side effects!
